Last Nights Nonsense

      So..... Sitting here trying to watch a few movies tonight and one of them being Training Day.  So as I'm watching the movie I'm noticing all these spots that have no sound.  These certain spots with no sound, I know used to have sound cause the peoples lips are still moving, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with my TV.  Then I remember all this crap with wiki, google, ect with all the censorship, and I am getting genuinely disgusted.  Now I'm not one to go around swearing, showing body parts that shouldn't be shown but when it comes to my TV, I might wanna know if the guy said damn, or dern, and I might wanna know if the good looking chic that is slowly undressing is really a chick you know.  So since I am here not able to sleep I think about this, until I just decide to stop watching and go surf the internet, which is why I ended up here.
       The internet when it first came out was this unreal world of information.  I mean why else would be be called information HIGHWAY.  It was full of some useful stuff and alot of nonsense to pack your brain, and has vastly improved to offer a little more useful information, and a ton of useless garb.  That doesn't bother me though.  The useless garb is still entertaining and it helps fill the gaps of brain inactivity while I am studying for my next exam or doing homework.  It keeps me going  while I'm trying to find space to store the much needed information somewhere deep inside my brain to be puked up later on paper then ultimately forgotten to make room for more useless garb.  I guess what I am saying is I like my internet as a information superhighway open and free, not a one way street with concrete walls on both sides to keep me within parameters that someone else has set.
     Bare with me where for a sec.  Got a little sidetracked..  What Im saying is where is this censorship going to stop.  Or should i say control.  I'm not a anti-government freak setting out to undermine the government. I am just a regular person who enjoys entertainment, and choices.  Be it what I watch, what I look up, or what I don't want to look up.  I want my choices.  I want uncensored TV or my internet to be, well the internet it started out to be.
     Take TV as an example here again. Why even rate a movie R if your going to blank out the cuss words.  I mean really. They had minus well take the language warning off movies being shown on TV.  Minus well take brief nudity out cause the boob I thought was going to finish creeping out just turned into a blob on the screen.   Talking about a let down.  If I was an actor I would be pissed that the image of me with my 8 thousand dollar DD's just turned out like a botch job at a local cosmo joint on the corner.
     And I know I will probably will get flamed by the parents that are out there that say they don't want their kiddo seeing such on TV.  As if your kids haven't ever walked in on mommy and daddy during some awkward moment, that has probably scarred the both of you for life, alot more then if they saw some random boob on TV.  Still there though, I'll be met with those parent that are completely innocent from such bazaar acts.  Then I guess I can introduce them to the channel guide, explain the TV ratings, and direct them to cartoon network or nickelodeon  where our kids can learn to speak a different language where u have to go to college to even communicate with them.  But that is a completely different soapbox.
     Its just crazy.  To be the land of the free, there seems to be more and more stuff that isn't free. Well guess my TV is excitement free, and if this censorship goes on through so will my internet, which ironically I have to pay for both.  But since I am paying for this I want TV like it used to be.  I want my internet the way it was designed.  Open to be enjoyed, not full of legal crap that limits what I can or cannot do with it.  I don't want my information to be fed to me. Cause that's what I feel this is heading to.  It starts ever so small, taking small things away that most of you will go along with.  Yeah in my previous example it was a boob big deal right.  Seen one seem them all. But its controversial things that can get passed.  And the more little controversial things that gets passed before you know it, those little things have completely wiped out a complete source  of joy, entertainment, or whatever you wanna call it.  Its gone.  And we are left wondering how we let this happen.  America the free, free from what.  The older I get I totally understand why the older generations and our ancestors lived in the good'ole days.  Funny thing is I can say " Yeah back in the good ole days....."   Those days seems to be getting further and further away.  And its sad at  28 years old I have lived my "good'ole days."  So I guess I will live out the rest of my life watching people are getting shoved deeper and deeper into the ███████, I mean rear end, (so its kept PG you know,) of some type of political agenda.
     People, those reading and feel free to share.  You will have to excuse my grammar and any random thing as I typed about at TWO am this morning.  And feel free to comment.  I promise I won't censor, or ban comments. Excercise that right to free speech and so forth.  This was just something I wanted to rant about for a minute.  So as the story goes, this rant will eventually end. And every good ending has credits, so lets roll the credits....
