More Non-Sense

     So here I am tonight.  Going to open my never ending thoughts on random crap that's going on around me.  Tonight the one in particular is what people argue about on Facebook.  In particular the smoking ban on the WPSD website that has actually stirred a little controversy..  The ironic part I find is that most posts SCREAM for clean air.  That a smoking ban will just purify the air.  I mean you hear these people talk this and you have to feel sorry for them. 
      Ok, for a second let me say something don't sound like a hypocrite, I do smoke. Am I upset about the smoking ban?  Kinda..  Not because I wont be able to light up walking down the street but its just another way for someone else to have control over a choice I once had.  That's off subject but wanted to clarify a little.
      Back to the main subject.  Clean Air.  These people are griping that the air is "dirty" or whatever cause of cigarette smoke.  Indoors, I can agree.  I eat then I politely go outside and smoke after my meal.  Doesn't bother me.  But outside people come on.  On statistical data there is 255 million plus cars running up and down the road in America alone.  And I know that's not clean oxygen coming out of the tailpipe of those cars.  I mean a two inch pipe at least, at constant exhale and they worry about a little cigarette.  It just don't make sense.  They say smoking causes cancer.  Yeah it probably does.  Go take a huff off that tailpipe, bet it would give ya cancer too.  I was reading where they are linking chlorine to cancer.  What the hell are these people gonna do when that happens.. Cant drink city water, or most bottled water since its just filtered tap water.   
     We have meddled in the inner workings of this world enough, changed enough things that hell, life gives you cancer.  But what people are not seeing is that its not really about clean air..  Put a little twist on it.  People can argue over the clean air till their little brains are over oxygenated from rapid breathing all they want and all this doing is masking a larger problem that is being clouded over. 
       My thoughts:  The only reason I disapprove with the smoking ban is its another way for the government to gain control over another aspect of my life.  And yours too.  Little by little, the clean air pushers, piracy law pushers, pro/con, etc, are arguing over something that in fact really means nothing.  They are so distracted by the subject at hand that they can't see the freedoms we have, slowly being peeled away.  Government wise its a wonderful idea.  They start these controversial arguments that have a chance to win in legislature, then watch as the crowds self destruct while tying the noose around their neck.  So distracted by the point at hand people vote to ban smoking, while in sense its just letting the government take a little more.  I know pennies add up to dollars, common knowledge.  Well add up what little bans like this could lead to.. ...
